Policy Statement

Wisdom Institute is committed to increasing access to high-quality mental health care by offering financial assistance to patients who require services not covered by insurance. The scholarship program is designed to support individuals who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to their healing journey.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must:

  1. Demonstrate financial need based on income and personal circumstances.

  2. Be receiving or seeking services through Wisdom Institute-affiliated providers.

  3. Show commitment to their treatment plan and ability to participate in recommended services.

  4. Provide documentation verifying financial need (e.g., recent tax return, pay stubs, proof of public assistance).

Application Process

  1. Request Application – Interested patients may request a scholarship application from the administrative office or access it from the Wisdom Institute website.

  2. Complete and Submit – Applicants must fill out the scholarship application form and provide all required financial documentation. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

  3. Review Process – Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Scholarship Review Committee. Decisions are based on financial need, availability of funds, and the patient’s treatment plan.

  4. Notification – Applicants will receive a written response within 14 business days regarding their scholarship status.

  5. Acceptance and Agreement – Approved recipients must sign an agreement outlining the terms of the scholarship, including attendance, participation, and any co-payments required.

Award Details

  • Scholarship amounts vary depending on available funding and individual need.

  • Scholarships may cover partial or full out-of-pocket costs for approved services.

  • Recipients may be required to contribute a portion of their treatment costs based on financial ability.

Renewal and Reassessment

  • Scholarships are awarded for a designated period (e.g., 3-6 months) and are subject to renewal upon reassessment.

  • Recipients must reapply and provide updated financial information if continued assistance is needed.

Confidentiality

  • All application materials and financial information are kept strictly confidential and used solely for scholarship determination.
